Free Beans, Courtesy of Trade Coffee!

I always recommend buying beans from smaller roasters - it's good for local economies, keeps people passionate about coffee fed, and makes for a better world. Better still is to buy from roasters who have direct partnerships with farms and maintain ethical practices throughout the supply chain. 

The above said, not everyone lives near great roasters, or you may not like their particular roasts, so you may need to explore other options to get what you want.
