You make those adjustments on a magnetic touchscreen Communication Pod that lifts off the machine, so you dial in pressure and timing in your hand rather than reaching around the body. A rotary pump runs quiet and steady, drawing from the 1.9L reservoir or plumbed directly into your water line, and the R58 TUNE reaches espresso temperature in about ten minutes from cold.
