It's a great bottomless portafilter, but you should expect a strong double espresso dose. So if you look for a single-shot espresso, you need a different basket

I absolutely love this machine. I have been trying to avoid Chinese products and I think this grinder lives in the absolute perfect value proposition for a fine Italian made grinder without costing too much. It is amazingly quiet. Incredible grinder. The grind speed, consistency and accuracy are top notch. It also looks beautiful sitting on the kitchen counter. It does make quite a mess if trying to dispense straight into the portafilter. A dosing cup or funnel is recommended for keeping your workspace clean.
