Rocket's FAST Lineup and the Sanremo YOU: What's New for 2026

Rocket Espresso has been on a roll lately. Over the past year or so, they've refreshed two of their most popular heat exchanger machines — the Giotto and the Mozzafiato — and the result is the FAST lineup. We've also been carrying the Sanremo YOU since 2023, and it deserves a proper introduction for anyone who hasn't looked at it yet. Here's a rundown of what's new and worth knowing.

The Rocket FAST Lineup: Giotto and Mozzafiato

Both machines come in two pump configurations — V (vibratory) and R (rotary) — so there are actually four variants in the FAST family. Same heat exchanger design, same OLED display, same Valerio Cometti+V12 Design collaboration that gave the Appartamento TCA its distinctive look. The differences are in the pump and, for the R models, plumbing options.

V models use a vibratory pump and run off the internal 2.5L reservoir. They're what most home users will want — simpler setup, no plumbing option, and plenty of pressure for great espresso. R models step up to a commercial-grade rotary pump, which runs quieter, lasts longer under heavy use, and supports direct plumb-in to a water line if you want unlimited water supply without refilling.

Rocket Giotto V FAST — $2,599  |  Giotto R FAST — $2,999

The Giotto is Rocket's original machine — the one the whole company was built around — and the FAST revision is a genuine upgrade, not just a cosmetic refresh. Warm-up time is down to 12 minutes thanks to optimized heating technology, and the new OLED display shows boiler temperature and shot time. The proportions have been subtly refined: it's a bit taller and more purposeful-looking on the counter, though it's unmistakably still a Giotto.

Specs: 1.8L brass/copper boiler, 58mm portafilter, 1550W, pre-infusion via the E61 group. Available in Black Edition and Chrome.

Rocket Mozzafiato V FAST — $2,499  |  Mozzafiato R FAST — $2,999

Identical internals to the Giotto FAST in the same pump configuration — same boiler, same display, same 12-minute warm-up. The Mozzafiato just wears a more conventional box-shaped body rather than the Giotto's angular profile. If you want Rocket engineering without the statement-piece aesthetic, this is the one. The V FAST also comes in $100 under the Giotto V FAST, which is a nice bonus.

Sanremo YOU — $6,950

The YOU has been in our lineup since 2023 and it's worth highlighting here because it's a fundamentally different kind of machine. Where the Rockets are excellent examples of the classic E61 heat exchanger approach — proven, reliable, built to last — the Sanremo YOU is built around pressure profiling. There's a brew paddle on the front that lets you adjust extraction pressure in real time, mid-shot. The multi-boiler design keeps brew and steam temperatures completely independent. You can store up to 16 extraction profiles, and the touchscreen handles programming without diving into menus.

It's not really competing with the Giotto and Mozzafiato — it's aimed at a different kind of buyer. If you want to dial in pressure curves and get into the weeds on extraction variables, the YOU is made for that. If you want a beautiful, reliable machine that makes excellent espresso day after day without much fuss, the Rockets are the answer.

Which One?

For most home users: pick between the Giotto V FAST and Mozzafiato V FAST based on which body style appeals to you — the espresso will be the same either way. If you use the machine heavily, entertain a lot, or want to plumb it in, step up to the R variants. And if extraction science is your thing, take a serious look at the Sanremo YOU.

All of these ship free from espressosale. Any questions, get in touch — happy to help you figure out what's right for your setup.
