How does the built-in scale work?
The instant weighing system uses a load cell connected to the portafilter fork. When you place your portafilter or filter on the fork, the grinder calibrates and then grinds until it reaches the dose you set in grams. If you touch the portafilter during grinding, it pauses and resumes once it stabilizes.

Can I use it for brew methods other than espresso?
Yes. Rotate the adjustment ring to select Espresso, Moka, or Filter mode. Each mode has its own preset doses: single and double for espresso, and small, medium, and large for moka and filter.

How do I adjust the grind size?
After selecting the grinding mode, turn the ring nut clockwise for a coarser grind or anti-clockwise for a finer grind, keeping it within the selected mode’s range. Always adjust the grind with the motor running.

Can I grind by time instead of by weight?
Yes. Grinding by weight is enabled by default, but you can disable the scale and set your doses in seconds instead.

What if the dose weight isn’t accurate?
You can recalibrate the scale directly from the display using a certified weight of 100 g or less. If the problem continues, you can switch to timed grinding while you contact support.

Will it fit my portafilter?
The support fork is height-adjustable, so it accommodates a variety of portafilters, moka filters, and brewing containers.

Can I use pre-ground coffee or grind other foods?
No. The AllGround Sense is designed exclusively for grinding roasted coffee beans.

Care & Maintenance

• After each use: Close the hopper shutter and remove the hopper. Clean it with warm water and a neutral, unscented detergent, then dry it thoroughly
• After each use: Remove the adjustment ring and wipe it with a damp cloth. Remove the grinding chamber and clean the burrs and chamber with a soft brush, a dry cloth, and a vacuum. Never use water or detergents on the burrs or grinding chamber
• After each use: Remove the magnetic dispensing tube, wash it with warm water and a neutral detergent, and dry it. Clean its seat with a vacuum and a dry cloth
• Body: Wipe with a soft cloth and food-safe products. Never use water jets, steam, abrasive sponges, or harsh cleaners
• Dishwasher: The ring nut, grinding chamber, and burrs are not dishwasher safe
• Every 6 months: Deep clean the burrs with a grinder cleaning product (such as PULY GRIND), grinding it through the empty chamber to remove oils and deposits
• When needed: Recalibrate the built-in scale if doses become less accurate over time
• Long-term storage: Clean the grinder thoroughly, deep clean the burrs, unplug it, and cover it to protect it from dust
